It does not look like the pictures at all. I am going to report this game to apple. Never purchase.

The controls are the worst Ive seen, surrounding a terrible emulator. Not worth a cent, let alone $7.

The classic mode is good, not quite as good as the DS version which, in my opinion, is the greatest port of this game ever. I wish the power up cheat was enabled.

Joystick blows on iPhone. Blows. Blows. Blows. The game is v. cute. Pretty much spent $5 on cuteness. Could have spent the $5 on a cute friend. More like bubble bubble trouble trouble. Watch out for your $$$. Just think about. (Dont do it. Needs improvements)

Screen is way to small and hard to use the joystic and buttons. Wasting money. Dont buy!

Many video game corporation made an innocent and well intentioned mistake: They made a successful game, and years later with newer hardware in console hands, they re released the same game with the same name but this one being an improved version. Most cases, they failed because sometimes adding colors, better sound and speed kills the magic and program dynamics of the game. Therefore ending up with a better version but magic less. My favorite arcade game of all times is Wonderboy in Monsterland by SEGA (which BTW, I wish they release it and I will be happy to pay 20 bucks for the original version). IMHO, that is exactly what happened with that game. The Master System version lost its magic. Better flow but the little guys feels lighter when you move in on the screen and it just changes the entire playability of the game. All the tricks to get 60+ gold coins are no longer there either (big disappointment). Just my taste, it maybe just great and perfectly fine for most other people. That said, this port did not do that. It is the original arcade version we used to play when we were kids. That alone earned it 5 stars for me. Yes, the screen is a bit small (but remember the resolution we had back in the day compared with the one we have now) and you cant execute the cheats (well, unless they add them on an upgrade), but Bubble Bobble Double comes with the Classic version we all knew and loved. The new style, I personally do not care. I did not buy this game for the new style but ONLY because of the classic version. I played it with my thumbs just fine without any problems whatsoever. Yes, I wish I can have a transparent controller and utilize more screen real estate; but I am quite happy with what Ive got. I use it on and iPod touch 4th generation by the way. I have been waiting for the price to go down. $4.99 is fair enough, but I usually just add the games I want into my wishlist for a while wishing they go on sale or for free for a while. But this game didnt, so I just bought it when I read someone else mentioning it comes with the original classic version instead of the years later version. If it goes on sale, oh well... it is well worth it when you get one of your favorite games in your favorite device. I applaud Taito for this port. Thanks for giving me back one of my favorite games of all times.

I love this game alot! Both New and Classic Edition! The only thing that really bugs me is that 2-player is not included... Especially with keeping the blue player at the edge of the screen, It Just bugs me! TATIO, if you can, Please add bluetooth or wi-fi multiplayer on at least on classic, if not both. I was expecting this game to be good like when I was a kid but the controls are way too hard to use and they dont even work right and the graphics are terrible and the screen is way smaller than it should be!!

Cute game. Hardly worth 5 dollars though. Controls for classic mode are extemely sluggish. Overall not bad, but for the price, not great either.

The controls of this one are really hard to get accurate when playing in classic mode. I cant recommend this one unfortunately.

Let me get one thing clear, I love playing classic on here. While the controls arent perfect they do work.

Controls are hard to use. Some levels require you to jump on your own bubbles but its impossible with these controls. Please fix thanks one level its impossible because your stuck in such a small space you pop the bubbles instead of jumping on them. To small of screen.

It is the classic that you know and love. If you played the original and liked it you will ne be disappointed. Controls can be a bit touchy but do work ok. The new game is an interest twist amd is kinda fun.

This is and always will be one of my favorite games. However, this port has failed. The controls are terrible. The screen is too small, and it gets smaller in landscape. Wtf? I do like that is plays, looks and feels the same as the original. Just fix the controls and screen size.

Please fix the screen size its way to small...then you will see 5 stars! I swear if I knew the screen was that small I would not have purchased it.

I love the old classic game, but the controls on here are horrible. It is not fun to play because of the control problems. I have it on my iPad. The new version included on the app is pretty dull.
